A Letter To My Son, James Kurt Andrei

                                                                                                                       March 01,2007
Dear Kuya Kuti,

We just want you to know that Papa and Mama were very much happy and excited to have you way back before you were still in my womb though you came into our lives so sudden. You just don't know how papa became happy when we found out from the ultrasound that you were a boy. I was very happy to feel your little kicks on my tummy. It's has been a glorious feeling I was carrying inside me another soul that just keeps me going on. A soul that has been the fruit of the beautiful love papa and mama have shared. I couldn't explain how happy I was every time i feel your little moves inside me, the beat of your heart next to me and how you breathe exactly the way I was breathing. I know I'm going to be a proud mom. And right just you were born, it was then September 14,2006, I am very thankful because God gave me enough courage and strength that's why I wasn't have any difficulty of making you first see the real world. When I first touched you, it was then I realized that I am now complete. Just by looking at you right then and there, I knew all my uncertainties and doubts towards life vanished..I didn't have any regrets for having you in papa and mama's lives. You were so very tiny, so innocent and you mean so much to us.You are now our little angel. Problems and conflicts may arise but surely with you around us, papa and mama will survive. You have made our relationship became stronger and deeper every days that passes by. We learn to love more each other because of you. Each and every moments of our lives was worth all the pains and hardships we've encountered. By then I didn't have any knowledge of how to take care and raise you but luckily we made it right up to this day and hopefully for the coming of days, though sometimes we may handle you improperly. Sorry kuya for all our shortcomings. Sorry if sometimes mama made you cry, sometimes I easily got mad at you, sometimes I don't have time to play with you, read you stories, sing you songs. I may spanked and scolded you but it doesn't mean that we don't love you.it's just sometimes I am not in my good mood and I tend to lose my temper that is why when your'e trying to be makulit, it annoyed me. Mama just wanted you to know the right and wrong, good and bad. God knows how much papa and mama loves you, how we gave up everything because we wanted you to enjoy life and have a good future. One day you'll going to read my letter and when that time comes, your'e already quite a big boy and probably goes to school and have many, many friends. By that. I hope you will understand why such things happened into our lives. That someday you'll be able to know that you are the son that we really wanted to have and definitely you will be proud of us as your parents..Thank you for coming into our lives. You made mama changed...yeah a lot..and papa either. You taught us how to be strong, to have deeper faith in God, to be humble, to be generous and to appreciate the beauty of life. And now that you are going to be a big boy...we just want you to know that your are still the same little angel in papa and mama's lives.Be a good boy...always sweet, kind and loving. We are happy to have you...we will always be. And we are very proud of you. You are my everything, my happiness and my life.If I had to live my life all over again I wouldn't hesitate to embrace again the moments I experienced with you and papa rather than not have you in my life. You are my priceless possession...You made my life complete...We always love you, son..mwuahz!!!
                                                                                                            Love,
                                                                                                            Mama Queenie

Largest Crocodile on planet!

Lolong is the largest crocodile in captivity. He is an Indo-Pacific or Saltwater crocodile (Crocodylus porosus) measured at 20 feet 3 inches (6.17 meters), making him one of the largest crocodiles ever measured from snout-to-tail.

In November of 2011, Australian crocodile expert Dr. Adam Britton of National Geographic sedated and measured Lolong in his enclosure and
confirmed Lolong as the world's longest crocodile ever caught and placed in captivity.

Officials of the town of Bunawan where the crocodile was captured said that experts from the National Geographic Channel found out that Lolong breaks the record of the previous record-holder: a 17 feet and 11.75 inches (5.48 meters)

A Mother's Story

Heres the story :D

My mom only had one eye
Category: Parent_family

My mom only had one eye. I hated her… She was such an embarrassment. She cooked for students and teachers to support the family.

There was this one day during elementary school where my mom came to say hello to me. I was so embarrassed.

How could she do this to me? I ignored her, threw her a hateful look and ran out. The next day at school one of my classmates said, ‘EEEE, your mom only has one eye!’

I wanted to bury myself. I also wanted my mom to just disappear. I confronted her that day and said, ‘ If you’re only gonna make me a laughing stock, why don’t you just die?’

My mom did not respond… I didn’t even stop to think for a second about what I had said, because I was full of anger. I was oblivious to her feelings.

I wanted out of that house, and have nothing to do with her. So I studied real hard, got a chance to go abroad to study.

Then, I got married. I bought a house of my own. I had kids of my own. I was happy with my life, my kids and the comforts. Then one day, my Mother came to visit me. She hadn’t seen me in years and she didn’t even meet her grandchildren.

When she stood by the door, my children laughed at her, and I yelled at her for coming over uninvited. I screamed at her, ‘How dare you come to my house and scare my children!’ GET OUT OF HERE! NOW!!!’

And to this, my mother quietly answered, ‘Oh, I’m so sorry. I may have gotten the wrong address,’ and she disappeared out of sight.

One day, a letter regarding a school reunion came to my house. So I lied to my wife that I was going on a business trip. After the reunion, I went to the old shack just out of curiosity.

My neighbors said that she died. I did not shed a single tear. They handed me a letter that she had wanted me to have.

‘My dearest son,

I think of you all the time. I’m sorry that I came to your house and scared your children.

I was so glad when I heard you were coming for the reunion. But I may not be able to even get out of bed to see you. I’m sorry that I was a constant embarrassment to you when you were growing up.

You see……..when you were very little, you got into an accident, and lost your eye. As a mother, I couldn’t stand watching you having to grow up with one eye. So I gave you mine.

I was so proud of my son who was seeing a whole new world for me, in my place, with that eye.

With all my love to you,

Your mother.’
